It may seem unnecessary to define a "hospital" since everyone knows the nature of a hospital. A hospital began as a charitable institution for the needy, aged, infirm, or young. But as the time progressed it did not stay as charitable institution as most of the hospitals with ultra modern facility began charging thick amount of money to the patients. Today in the 21st century hospitals have become good source of income for the owners. So we can define hospital as an institution where sick or injured are given medical or surgical care but are charged for that most times.
